    FUN FACTS
    πŸ”΄
,400 APR in March 2020 for what we believe was a questionably toned MS65 RB (click the 4th image).
4,800 APR in February 2020 for a seemingly conserved MS65+ RD (5th image).
Neither conserved nor doctored, unlike most 1955/55 cents in high-grade PCGS slabs (yes, most). Very few marks for MS65 or even MS66.
We believe would upgrade after professional conservation but we prefer originality. The lone numerically higher coin, an MS66BN, CU's for ,500 yet has been conserved and is BROWN with ZERO red. Our piece is 80% original RED!
Population 11 with ZERO finer in RB or RD, some of which are likely resubmissions or crossovers of the same coins (and/or have artificial or conserved color).
One numerically finer in ANY color, a seemingly conserved MS66 BN.
Nearly all 1955/55's browned and/or developed black spots because they were included as change in cigarette packs and thus exposed to tobacco and other harmful chemicals/compounds.
ALL non-doctored copper coins have spots, even MS70RD's as per all leading experts. But this beautiful Gem has fewer (and lighter) specks than expected for a non-doctored Gem 1955/55.
