The electric power table works great. The internal camera is displaying on the screen. There is no laptop computer or software included and these will have to acquired before this device can be used. Description
This is a 2013 Haag Streit Octopus 900 Perimeter Vision Field Analyzer system in excellent cosmetic and power tested condition. I have no reason to believe this machine isn't in working condition but due to the high cost of shipping I have decided to sell it as-is with no return.
Comes with an electric power table but there is no laptop computer or software included and will need to be acquired before this unit can be used. I am able to test all chin cup and refractive lens holder positioning through the controls and everything seems to work. The internal camera is working to project an image onto the display screen. It looks like it is ready to use but no other testing has been done. It may or may not require professional setup and/or calibration at the buyers expense. I did remove the 4 screws in the back plate to take pictures of the internals to show nothing looks missing or scavenged. The electric power table is nice and works good. Also included is the patient switch, dust cover and a removable table bracket attachment.

The Octopus 900 is an automatic projection Perimeter for the examination of the entire field of sight (90°)
• The system is divided into the examination unit (Octopus 900) and control unit (notebook, PC). The examination unit communicates with the external PC via an Ethernet connection. The Octopus 900 is operated using the software installed on the PC. The Perimeter may be operated from a bright side room if necessary.
• Integrated patient monitoring increases the reliability of the examination results.
• The Octopus 900 is used by clinical users and for research purposes, since its flexibility is practically unlimited.
• The Octopus 900 tests the entire field of sight up to 90° eccentricity because of its spherical cupola geometry by Goldmann. Thanks to the flexibility of this instrument, all perimetric questions can be answered – in both the 30° and 90° range, with kinetic perimetry, static perimetry or flicker perimetry.
• New PC and perimetry software can be downloaded and updated by going to www.Haag-Streit.com.
Condition & Testing
This field analyzer is near perfect cosmetic condition with little to no sign of normal use. It powers on and I am able to control all the chin cup and refractive lens holder positioning adjustments through the control panel. The internal camera is working to project an image on the screen when I place something front of it. There is no laptop computer or software included and these items will need to be acquired before this system can be used. I did take the four screws out of the back panel to take pictures to show nothing is missing or scavenged. I am unable to test the patient switch or any other function. It looks ready to use but may require professional setup and/or calibration at the buyers expense. The electric power table is working properly through the up/down switches. The electric power table does show some edge wear and overall scuffing but still very presentable. I have no reason to believe this machine isn't working but I am selling it as-is.
