Parker 51 First Year Double Jewel...Restored

Description

1941 Parker 51  First Year, vacum-fill, double jewel blue diamond
pen. The pen has all of the first year 51 identifiers--larger blue diamond on clip, aluminum end jewels, no barrel imprint, deep imprint above blind cap ring, and metal filler.
The pen has been disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned,  a new diaphram installed and it works.
14K nib is fine/medium. The rare squiggly-line, gold-filled cap with early imprint at top of cap, has 3 small dings; one on each side and one at the rear. The pen has no cracks or names. The complete blind cap imprint is there, with a date code 1. Some scratches at lower end of the blind cap.
