Parker Vacumatic Fountain Pen, Major, Golden Pearl, 14k Fine Nib, Restored

Description

A nice Parker Vacumatic fountain pen in Golden Pearl celluloid with a fine point 14k Parker nib. This pens is in good overall condition with normal age related wear. Barrel and cap show minor marks, nick, and dings. Barrel imprint is good showing a production date code of “7” (1947). Imprint does have some scratches on the “USA” wording. Jeweled blind cap is likely from an earlier model, but fits correctly. Gold plated trim is in good shape, showing some wear and plating loss on cap band and blind cap tassie. Blind cap jewel isn’t tightened down all the way (tightened in place). Vacumatic filling system is in working order. Nice barrel transparency. The 14k Parker nib offers a smooth fine line with some mild flex. Lots of good iridium left. Please see sample writing in photos. Pen measures approximately 5 1/8 inches (130mm) in length capped. A very nice Parker Vacumatic in good working order!
